L&rsquo;usine ouvre ses portes \u00e0 Marly (Nord), dans la banlieue de Valenciennes. Elle produit tous types de v\u00e9los propos\u00e9s sous trois marques.<\/p><p>La premi\u00e8re, Quantum, qui repr\u00e9senta 78 % du CA de l&rsquo;entreprise, fut r\u00e9serv\u00e9e \u00e0 la grande distribution alimentaire.<\/p><p>Les marques Q-Bikes et Ellipsys, quant \u00e0 elles, \u00e9taient destin\u00e9es aux enseignes de sport et aux sp\u00e9cialistes.<\/p><p>Mais Quantum rencontra des difficult\u00e9s li\u00e9es \u00e0 l&rsquo;essor de la grande distribution sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9e.<\/p><p>Troisi\u00e8me fabricant fran\u00e7ais de cycles, le groupe valenciennois Quantum (CA : 6M\u20ac) dut licencier en masse fin 2007.
